INTERSPECIES ART HUB is a platform for artistic projects and discourses involving human and non-human animals, with a particular focus on post-anthropocentric collaborations and co-creations within the context of art. Transdisciplinary, crossing boundaries of disciplines and species, the IAH operates at the intersections of art, science, and research. The interrogation of human-animal relationships and the visibility of speciesism are at the center of all projects. The IAH was founded in 2021 and is based in Vienna.
SNIFFING CONVERSATIONS is our current interdisciplinary dialogue series that puts non-human animals in focus, addressing topics in Interspecies Art, Human-Animal Studies, Philosophy, and Animal Ethics. Through workshops, lectures, and artistic projects, it explores the contemporary human-animal relationship, fostering exchange between art and science. The series is curated by Lisa Jäger, Lena Lieselotte Schuster, and Eva Seiler.
